CCAs

was a member of the Girls' Brigade (GB) in my secondary school days.
I never regretted being part of this uniformed group as it provided me with an enriching and fulfilling 4 years. It made me give in many of my "first times" - camping outdoors, planning events and taking up leadership roles. I was appointed as the Assistant Company Sergeant Major (ACSM) in 2007.

It was GB that allowed me to appreciate many things which I wasn't able to before. One example would be the National Day Parade contingents. I remember how I use to find the segment the most boring part of the entire parade, but, after joining GB, i finally understand the hard work the contingents had put in in order for the parade to go on smoothly.

Beloved Girls ♥
Right now, I do not have a CCA. However, I'm still going back to GB in my secondary school as a helper every Friday. This is one of the reasons why I really look forward to Fridays every week. It really brings me joy to see the girls each Friday after a hectic week of schooling.

Girls' Brigade really left an impact on my life. I believe this is the reason why I decided to go back and serve as a helper - to be an impact the lives of the girls.
