JOB APPLIED

PRE-SCHOOL TEACHER
I can't really see myself as a business woman in the near future, but, I do want to use whatever I have learnt in the course I'm taking now to set up a kindergarten one day. Before diving right into the setting up of the kindergarten, I will want to experience myself on what it is like to be a teacher.

"Children are the future of the world", yes, I totally agree with this statement. I believe that everyone made special with their individual abilities and talents. One can only shine through continuous learning and hard work. I want to help children realise their abilities and talents, at the same time, spur them on to work on their talents so they can be successful with whatever they are granted with.

Being a teacher has been my aspiration since young. I remember "teaching" to a group of my "imaginary students" when I was about 5. This aspiration might have been influenced by my aunt whose a teacher as well. I often see her marking worksheets and will usually be curious to what she was doing, after which, I will imitate what she did.
I was an imitator when I was younger.
I haven't gave it a much thought of what I wanted to be when I was in secondary school, until the day when I have to make decisions of the course that I wanted to study in polytechnic. It then dawned onto me that I wanted to do something in relation to children and that is when I finally knew what I wanted to be, a teacher.
A teacher is a compass that activates the magnets of curiosity, knowledge, and wisdom in the pupils. - Terri Guillemets
